cant get on to internet?

Only a very stupid virus would prevent internet access - to spread and repilicate itself a virus must have access to the net.

If you have a wireless connection navigate to Network Connections from the Control Panel and right click on the Wireless Icon if you have one.

Post another question saying what connection you have and what specifically does not happen that should happen.
