how can i fix my grundig car 200 autostore radio cassette ?
recently changed car battery and now radio is showing safe mode i do have right code but not sure if kids have messed with it whilst in vehicle type is car200 part no is 900 462 562 manyy thanks
MARK leave turned on untouched if you press any button the waiting time starts from the begining.
Please note that code entry is only possible with the ignition switched on, and in the order shown below. If the display shows a number less than 10, and the word SAFE, then the unit may be codelocked. If this is the case, leave it switched on for up to two hours and a further attempt at code entry should be possible.
Code Entry as Follows:
Turn Off Stereo
Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)
Press & Hold Preset " AS " and
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press & Hold Preset " AS " Until the Unit Beeps
