There is no need to remove the tap as the micro switch is located in the lever mechanism
Turn 12volts off
Unscrew the on/off hot/cold lever.
You can now slide the cover off.
Unscrew the bolt that is now visible and remove unit containing the micro switch. The micro switch can now be slid out.
Disconnect the cable at the connector located under the sink, use the old cables to pull the new micro switch cable thru.
Fit new spade connectors and reconnect.
The main fault I have found is not the micro switch itself but one of the wires breaking off due to wear and tear caused by turning the tap on and off and hot and cold.
