Westwood T1600 electric clutch will not engage when hot?
Westwood T1600 electric clutch will not engage when hot - there is electricity to the closest connector and it usefully engages when cold, but once hot will not engage. Are replacements available and if so can a moderately capable DIY manage to replace it.
Thank you anyone
It is only an electro magnet, there is a field winding in the top of the clutch, they are only available as a complete item, the biggest problem is going to be the cost, not the difficulty of fitting
