how do i fix my heater cable on my 05 ford focus?

you can take front off and gain access to heater switches (pull stereo out 2 screws inside 1 left 1 right )pull ashtray out 2 screws there then should pull off ,then 4 screws holding heater switches (all 1 block ) then pull back to reveal cables (unclip from heater matrix first
