clutch on rover 25?

Although changing the clutch would involve jacking the car up, there is a lot more to it than that. He will need to remove various suspension components & driveshafts as well as the gearbox(which is heavy) & anything attached to it, to get to the clutch. It sounds to me that your husband has serious doubts about this ,so i would suggest that he leaves well alone, & get someone with some experience to do it.
