Mend Electrolux Water Heat Cold

Electrolux ESL6115 Water does not heat?

My Electrolux ESL6115 washes cold only. The water does not heat.

Is there anything that I could/should try ? Should I try getting someone in to fix it or should I simply replace it ?

I'd be very grateful to receive answers that are too technical.

I have the same problem. I was all set to buy a replacement heating element for around £40 when I found that it wasn't totally cold when I last ran a programme on it. Now I'm not so sure it is just a fautly element and I'm beginning to suspect the electronics are faulty and are not switching on the element when they should do. Can anyone else shed any light?
