I'm assuming this is the Samsung / Sam4s ER-150. The most common reason for this is when the small rubber feed roller at the back of the printer perishes and won't turn. You can remove the paper, hold down the feed button and rest your finger on the rubber roller. If it is not turning in small jerks as the printer runs, you need a new printer (or new register). The other reason is that the paper is not feeding into the printer correctly. Make sure it is not jammed up anywhere.
