Go around the back and to the left of the compressor might be a white plastic box.inside there is a mechanical timer.remove the screws and you will see a round plastic blanking plug.pop this out and with a flat bladed screwdriver rotate the cam round and round and see if compressor kicks in.if it does this is you problem.Around £10 for a new one
