The 19x32x7mm seal is a standard component from specialist factors, but the repair of the upper shaft and the bearing top hat requires time, skill, ingenuity, and a metal-turning lathe. I speak from experience of reconditioning my 1025. Unless he fulfils these criteria, he would be advised to replace it with a new machine. A professional repair would be uneconomic.
