Flymo won't start?

Sorry thought it was petrol, its going to be a motor issue, unless this is a newish machine it will not be worth replacing the motor, motors range from £30 to £60 it may be time to invest in a new machine, if you take the pnc ( product ) no. from the rating plate, ring Flymo, they have a credit card line, they should be able to give you the price of a new motor

Sorry I wasn't clear. It is an electric flymo and when I press the buttons it almost starts - it's like the spark gets lit but then stops immediately. thanks. colm

I guess we are talking petrol engine, does it have a primer all position carb, or a normal float bowl carb.
