Hi, hoping someone can help please. My car cut out on me down my road and hasn't restarted since, we have had a look at it and no fuel is going to the pump(in the engine bay) as far as we can see, we cannot see if fuel is going from the pump(in the engine bay) although it doesn't appear as it is.
just keeps turning over no fuel getting through, does this sound like a pump and if so does anybody know how much they are and what they are called because techincally, I dont think its called a pump?
Usually a low pressure pump in the tank feeding the high pressure pump on the engine, have you checked if there is fuel at or in your filter, you didnt say what year or mileage your car had done, have a look at your filter first, maybe see if there are any fault codes stored too, good luck
