my ariston margarita 2000 wont drain?

i put some car mats in the other day and i think they m ust have been too big cos now it wont spin fast or drain. it still turns slowly so dont think it can be belt. was thinking it might be motor is that easy to fix or needs to be done professionally? its not filter either ive looked
