I have the same problem with ice forming at the bottom of the refridgerator part, and couldn't believe how low the setting had to be to achieve 0-5 degrees(with a thermometer). Then i recently discovered how warm the light was, even though the door had been shut all day. After investigating the door switch, i found the light going from on to off to DIM as you press the switch slowly in(mimicking the action of the door). This would suggest the door switch is faulty.
