how do I change the drive belt tensioner on my rover 420 diesel?

turn a spanner on the pulley and this should release the tension - hook off the old belt and fit the new belt in reverse order, - it sounds easy but you need a strong arm and a small dainty one to get in the limited space. - take off the top plastic cover and move the power steering bottle out of the way to make life a bit easier!, you can do this from the top but you will need a stick with a nail at one end to use as a hook.
