I bought a briggs and stratton carberator rebuild kit that came without ins?
I bought a rebuild kit for the carberator and it didn't have any instructions. I need to know what the float level needs to be at? 1985 snapper lt 16002 model # 402437 type #0696-01
They used two different carbs in that engine. The ones built before 1998 had a plastic float that is not adjustable. The later ones that had the brass float should be set so the float is parallel to the gasket surface when held upside down.
