how can I fix no power in a miele ws5426 washing machine?

magnetic door lock on a miele ws5426 was replaced due to the display going dead and washing machine not working, still not working even though power appears on testing to be going throughout the machine. trip switch? reprogramming? circuit boards? in built obselesence? help the very expensive miele man is comming on monday, 130 euro call out charge with a 120 euro per hour labour charge on top!!!! thanks Bing
