How can I increase the gas flame in my Rangemaster WL55 Gas Cooker?

How can I increase the gas pressure in my Leisure Rangemaster WL55 Gas Oven, Serial No. 5502 - 082179?
The flame has reduced to approx 1" and will not respond to control knob.

It sounds as though the oven flame failure device has gone faulty. This will only allow a very small amount of gas through.
