candy cmd146 drum makes noise, bearing needs changing, ?

i have the same machine with the same problem. I am able to repair it but it is far from a simple fix. the only way to do it is to compleatly remove the drum. this entails removing the detergant tray, the dampers at the bottom of the machine, the springs from the top and the many wires, pipes and concrete weights before you can seperate the two halves of the drum. then you need to drift out the worn bearing with out causing further damage to the hub! great fun if you are competant at d. i. y. if not you will have to get the engineer to do it. not what you wanted to hear perhaps but i hope this lets you know what to expect if you do attempt it youreself. good luck
