How can I fix my Hotpoint WF860?

With water in the drum lay the waste pipe on the floor, the water should drain out fairly quickly. If it doesn't the sump at the bottom of the drum may be blocked, this is a black rubber bowl held on by a large jubilee clip, remove this and check for blockages, you will find a large plastic ball in the sump. Normally if there is a blockage any where this will prevent the program moving on. Also check the waste pipe for limescale this can build up and block it Good luck
