Mend KitchenAid Worth Fixing Problem

would it be worth fixing a freezer problem in a 15 yr old kitchenaid refri?

the freezer fingers are in the up position as it was unplugged in mid cycle we have tried to reset it by shutting it off for a couple of hours and replugging it this does not reset icemaker it is 15 yrs old would it be worth fixing at all the water dispenser works but the temp flucuates in fridge side also icemaker freezes but won't dispense ice
