Mend HP Deskjet 600 Hp Printer

How can i mend printer HP Deskjet 600?

Printer working ok have had to put new cartridge in printer will not work

Pat..Was the printer cartridge an original HP cartridge? or was it a cheaper make from an other company?

Have you tried replacing the old cartridge to see if anything happens? If It works or you get some print off then the cartridge maybe at fault!

This is a really basic tip, so apologies if you've done this but, have you taken the foil wrapper off the cartridge? It may have a foil tab over the "jet" and one over the back of the cartridge (a sort of air hole.) Sometimes the foil is in one piece which covers both areas.
