Mend Briggs & Stratton 35 Classic Lawn Mower Engine Carburetor

How can I fix my briggs and stratton 35 classic?

Engine starts and runs well on primed fuel, then runs poorly when primed fuel runs out , does then not appear to be getting correct fuel mix. Air filter and jets cleaned plus new gasket and daphram to carb.bryan

Remove petrol tank cap and see how it runs. Possibly blocked cap vent or could be a blockage between tank & carb.
