Won't start - model series 90000 petrol mower?

I have a briggs & stratton petrol lawnmower, which is same as ....... http://www.tooltrolley.co.uk/images/Draper/76793_LMP566.jpg

It will not start, I have brought new spark plug but hasn't made a difference and I have topped up the petrol. Any help/advice/suggestions will be very much appreciated.
