How can I fix my sofa reclining chair?

Some 8 years ago I bought a 3 pieces sectional with a reclining chair at the right side end. The problem is that the wooden, I think, handle used to pull in order to recline broke down. How can it be fixed? Thank you

Most furniture manufactors or dealers have some parts available for your style sofa sectional, Some have plastic handles which hve one screw on the bottm of the handle that holds the handle on the square tubing or flat meatal plate with two screws.go on line to the make of the sectional find customer service and give them the style # and year ,if you can't find a style# on the ottoman or the back seat rail the unzip the cushion and you may find the model there.if not take a picture of the handle and the complete sectional and e-mail it to the customer service dept. of the company.
