Mend MTD Yard Machine Turn Start

18.5 hp MTD Yard Machine won't turn over?

I have a 46", 18.5 hp MTD Yard Machine that won't start. Actually, it won't even turn over. I just get a "click" (from the starter?) when I turn the key (even with a jump). It was working one day...not the next. I was thinking maybe a limit swith, but it happened kinda suddenly...

Take guard off start motor two screws. Use wide blade screwdriver and move flywheel where it engages with starter. Try again if battery fully charged it will start low battery it may not get past the same spot on flywheel again.
