I have a yamaha vstar 1100 and i need to know can the voltage reulator go up and down 10v then up to 18v and every thing in be tween. I thought it would umder charge or over charge not bounce all over the place.
it should range from 12.5 volts to about 14.5 volts any lesss and it wont charge the battery and any more and it will boil the acid out if the battery and dry it out.
