How can I get water into my Zanussi ZWF1658 washing machine?

For some reason the water has stopped entering the washing machine when I turn it on and it makes a buzzing sound but the drum does not turn.
I have checked the water supply and there is nothing wrong with it. There is no kink in the inlet pipe. I have also checked the filter and there is nothing wrong with that either.
Any help would be appreciated as I can not find the warrentee paperwork.
