Mend Peugeot Vivacity 100 Power After Change

no power after belt change?

just changed drive belt on vivacity 100, now there is now power in bike pulls away very slowly and takes ages to get up to just 40mph. can anyone help?

the belt is to short or the variator is not operating properly maybe due to jammed rollers.is the belt for the right model as theres a 50cc vivacity too
