Bosch Logixx 1400 Express - Please help?

I bought this 2nd hand yesterday and did a wash this morning. There was a strange noise during spin but the wash finished fine. The 2nd wash didn't spin and now the thing won't wash either. The advert said 12mths old (actually after speaking to Bosch - I gave them the numbers from the back that revealed it is 7yrs old!!) I now can't get hold of the person I bought it from. Anyhow, does this sound like the brushes need replacing? I've also seen that it could be something to do with the 'pressure' and that there's a pipe inside the machine. Where exactly is this-I've taken the top off, but don't know which pipe it is. Any help would be great! (btw it clicks through all the different stages of wash but just doesn't turn)
