How do i go about checking the charging system on a briggs engine,The battery will not stay charged,I know it could be the battery but it was replaced a few months back.Not to say it is not just bad....please help!
I use a negative shunt on the battary, it is a bar that sits on the negative side of the battary, you can then put a multi meter on and check for battary drain and amps produced from the charging system, they are available from you local Briggs dealer.
