primus heating pump?

The problem is almost certain to be the pump. Although a good quality pump the exposed cables and connectors will not tolerate British winters. My 1993 Eldiss was on its third pump when it failed again, at around £100+ each thats no joke. Primus are now defunct but you can still buy an original pump from Alde, if you can afford it. I did some research and sourced a better spec' fully enclosed pump which I have been using successfully for two seasons. Its very quiet in operation and the manufacturers quote in excess of 40,000 hour life expectancy. I can supply these pumps for £60.00.
