Mend LG RT-42PX10 Vertical Coloured Lines

Faulty LG RT-42PX10 Plasma- How can I fix it?

My 7 year old plasma just started displaying a vertical coloured lines recently, although the sound is still coming through ok. I would like to try and fix it as I cannot afford a new TV at the moment. I actually work as an electronics technician, but when it comes to plasma TV's I wouldn't know where to start. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

Resolder the cap and resistors on the panel cables

also dont forget the earthing tape as the screen will pulse if left off.....

most common trouble comes from faulty capacitor, with even a little dent outward at the top of capacitor's will actually kill you plasma tv
