Mend Belling 627WH Ovens Electric Timer

Belling 627WH - Resetting Timer?

After switching off at the mains and turning back on we are unable to reset the timer. We have followed the manual instructions but no resetting takes place, nor do the ovens switch on. Any suggestions on how to rectify?
