how can i override the auto timer (which is stuck)?

Hi
the clock on our electric cooker (rangemaster 110 green) is stuck in automatic, and we have tried every key combination to free it, to no avail.Consequently the ovens will not work
We would be happy to bypass the timer, but cannot remove the front panel to access the connections, help, help, help
