How can I fix my Kenmore Ultra Wash II dishwasher?

We have a Kenmore Ultra Wash II. All of a sudden it no longer works..nothing..nada...no humming, no water..etc. There is a small bit of water in the bottom. Can you help..please?

if you opened the door during the cycle, you could have shorted the switch, I've done it twice now. :(
Open the door cover on the inside, and see if the switch box looks melted or burnt. if it is that is the problem.

Hello,

If the dishwasher is completely dead make sure you check the junction box where the wires come in for a poor connection. Also check to make sure the switches are working properly both of these problems will cause a dead dishwasher.
