Mend Rover 45 Engine

Oil Spillage?

I was putting oil in my 2000 rover 45 and accidentally spilt some oil on the engine and it dripped all the way down. When i turned on the egnition i saw smoke coming out on the bonnet. What do i need to do to rectify this?

Buy a can of engine degreaser (GUNK)brush it on leave for a while then hose it off.
