LG1480 FHD Washing Machine Wont start?

The machine has an intermittent fault. When it's switched on from the mains plug it should give a triple tone beep, but most of the time now it just beeps once and when you presss the start button, nothing happens. The machine appears dead. You can come back to it a few minutes later, press the start button again and if you are lucky, it miraculously starts working again. Although increasingly now, it won't reacy at all. When it's working properly, if you switch it on from the mains plug, it usuallly beeps once, but now it won't beep at all. I have had this fault for a few days and this afternoon it started working perfectly, but now it won't respond at all. when it does start, the machine works perfectly. Can anyone help please
