Mend Ford Transit 135 PSI 350 Bought Van

ford transit limp home mode?

ive just bought a transit 135 psi 350 van and on the way home it went into limp home mode with glo plug light flashing on dash i tried van today and was fine for about 2 miles then same happened can anyone help diagnose whats wrong

Ford Ford Transit 135 PSI 350 Vehicles, Vans Transit Bought Van

My 2001 transit in limp/home mode won't go above 3000 revs when driving but when sitting out of gear will rev to 6000 revs other wise it drives great drives up and down motorway at 70mph
