my nintendo ds lite when switched on the light comes on then goes back off?

how can i fix this problem of it switching straight back off??

Its not the software! and its not bricked!!
most likeley a bad LCD screen, get it repaired with 6 months warranty at www.dsdoctor.co.uk

Your DS Lite is bricked. This means your software is damaged. But first check to make sure your battery is full and charges ok. Software issues are very hard to fix on your own. www.nabilselectronics.com
