Mend Hotpoint WD865 Heat Dryer Connections

Fixing new heat box on hotpoint wd865 washer dryer?

The new heat box has different (and less) connections than the old one. There is no connenction to a small black device (thermal fuse??) before the element. Also the element seems to be a different shape.
