how do i enter a code for my radio?

I had to replace the battery on my renault clio on an 04 plate. I have the code for the radio but how do i enter it please

Thanks hay 88 but all i got on the screen is the word 'code'. i can press buttons and turn the wheel and it makes a beep everytime bit I can't get it to display the numbers i need to enter. Any suggestions please?

hi kev how to enter is below
IF YOU DONT HAVE ¬ KEY THEN PUSH THUMBWHEEL IN AND SOME HAVE {A¬} KEY

Turn on the radio and the display will show 'CODE'
Use the steering controls for code entry.
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct first digit
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct second digit
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct third digit
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct fourth digit
If the correct code is now shown on screen,
press and hold the [ ¬] button for up to 10 seconds to store the code

FOR NO STEERING CONTROL
press the first preset button for the 1st digit,
second button for the 2nd digit
third button for 3rd digit
forth button for 4th digit
then press buttons 6 OR 5 to store. for 10 seconds

note the radio does not lockout after a wrong code entry it only doubles the time to wait before
the next retry...if a wrong code is entered it will display error then after the delay should display "0000")

Switch on the radio, the display will show 'CODE'(dc449/62)

Press [ 1 ] followed by the station < > buttons to rotate the first digit
Press [ 2 ] followed by the station < > buttons to rotate the second digit
Press [ 3 ] followed by the station < > buttons to rotate the third digit
Press [ 4 ] followed by the station < > buttons to rotate the fourth digit

Finally if the correct code is shown on screen press the [ 1 ] button to save the code
