I have a seat alhambra and the electrics are going haywire?
Over several weeks. Washers failed.
boot door would not open on fob.
radio failed
washers started working.
Clock resets to 0.00 when turn engine off.
water oil and batt guages dont rise.
When I lock boot door on key and shut it, it bounces first time then second time locks but drivers door unlocks.
Any Ideas its driving me mad.
I have an 'R' reg 1.9. Some of the things you describe are familiar, particularly problems with the boot lock. The wiring loom in the back hatch was loose and the wires had split. When I joined these, all worked fine. Worth checking

Check the earth lead from the battery to the vehicle body & engine.
