I have a Aerox that wont start, its a 57 plate it as a 70s kit on it, racing tuned.
It was running fine and then one day it just cut out.
I have cleaned the carb and put new reads in, new spark plug, new cdi unit,checked everything i can think of and still wont start.
As anyone got any suggestions please?
i was ridig my aerox and it just cutout an now it wont sart back up ive chang the cdi and the battrey and all the fuses, sparkplug wot cud it be plz let me no asap

I have checked the magneto key and thats fine
I wonder if it may be the rings as thinking about it, it seems low on compression

have you checked the crankseals ?and also does it have good compression if you push the kickstart down it should offer a good amount of compression being a 70cc .it could also be the woodruff key sheared on the magneto it keys the crank and magneto together in the right place and if it moves the ignition timing will go out.

Hi Adam, thanks for your reply and yes i was riding it at the time, i was going about 10 mile a hour as coming up to a t- junction and it just cut out.
The kick start is fine same as normal.

did it cut out while you were riding it?were you going fast when it did it and was the kickstart stiff to push down afterwards?.
