My Ford KA won't start?

My ka won't start I have a new battery and have jumped started it will get me to where I need to go but when I get back in it to go it just starts clicking again.

i have a ford ka 2 1998 i have a new battery but when i put it into start postion there no power to the starter motor at all. dash board lights cum on but theres no clicking no nothin to the starter motor. any ideas?

i have a 2001 same problem but when i turn the key to start position the lights dont dim or any clicking from the starter motor solenoid. the remain bright. Have checked as much wiring as possible but still the same . have checked the ignition starter switch with meter and it seems ok.

my daughters car has the same problem,(2002 plate) ,it will not jump start because no power to the starter and is not firing,still trying to get sorted,all ignition lights come on could be imobilizer,you may have to get diognostic check done.

The fact that your dash light come on when your battery is connected to another is good news. however It seems that your battery is very low on power
Are you sure that the jump leads have a good connection on both sets of battery terminals.
Also suggest that you increase the revs of the car thats suppliing the power to about 2000 before trying to start the other car.
