hello sean ,hand brake on slacken wheelnuts jack up car put on axle stands remove wheel.clean brake.remove 2 very tight bolts holding caliper onto car.lift away from disc dont pull on brake pipe.with old pads in prise them apart with a large driver this will push brake piston back to give better clearance for new pads to fit over disc.depending on car you will see pads are held in with clips or pins ,take some time to work out removal and note how to reassemble.haynes manual is handy.fit new pads, use copper grease that usually comes with pads on back of pads and keep away from pad area. you may have replace the clips etc if corroded, can buy some kits from halfords. once caliper is fitted back on car and the 2 bolts are torqued up check all is ok and fit wheel.remove axle stands lower car and tighten wheel nuts.pump brakes several times until they become firm, check brake fluid level is ok.both sets must be changed.not too difficult a job if you have the tools.hope this is of help.
