Mend Tv Picture Problem

My T.V. gradually lost all picture-what is problem?

My T.V. is five years old and it had a line through it at first. The sound works. The picture was fading a little more each day and then I totally lost all picture. What do you think the issue is and range of cost to fix it?

Have you checked that your scart lead connections haven't came loose, try pushing each end in a little more. Also may be worth buying a new scart lead if this fails, before spending too much money calling someone out.
