Mend Ford Mondeo Heater Temperature

ford mondeo 1997 how to change the bowden cable for the heater?

hey
I can't control the heater flap door using the temperature control. The air flow remains cold independent of the control position. How difficult is it to change the bowden cable. Where is the flap door - in the heater matrix?

Ford Ford Mondeo Vehicles, Cars Ford Heater Temperature

If you remove right hand centre side panel (by drivers feet) you can get to the flap control lever. At the heat control end youl have to remove radio, undo screws holding heater control panel,pull panel forward disconnect old cable, fit new cable and feed through and connect to lever. job done
