Mend Zanussi Jetsystem 1000 Cycle

Zanussi Jetsystem 1000. Why does the filter chamber hold excess water?

After every cycle I have to empty the excess water from the filter chamber in my washing machine or it escapes onto floor, also it won't progress to next stage if I don't empty it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

the filter always has water in but shouldn't stop the machine unless there is to much being left?.check for blockages in the drain hose and make sure the drain pump is working correctly.If the filter /manifold area is blocked up then this could also be a problem
