I have a NH 7840 SLE that was working fine yesterday. Today, we backed it out from under the barn, turned and started to drive off and it quit pulling. It will barely try to move.
Check if hydraulics and PTO are working, if they are the most likely cause is that the damper plate which is bolted to the flywheel to drive the tansmission has disintegrated, it will have to be split between the engine and transmission to replace it.
